Race Planet: the home of indoor karting in Amsterdam
In 1993, Bleekemolens Race Planet opened Europe’s very first indoor karting track, and ever since it has been the place to be for anyone who wants to unleash their inner speed demon. With two karting tracks in Amsterdam Westpoort, which are joined together to form one long track on Saturday and Sunday evenings, there’s always plenty of action to be had.
The range of activities on offer is surprisingly wide. For adults and teenagers aged 14 and over, there are standard 10-minute kart heats, longer races lasting 30 minutes or 2 hours, and group packages. Children aged 8 and over can take part in the children’s heats, and even the very youngest, aged 4 and over, have their own Mini Max karts. For families, there’s a special family heat where young and old compete against each other. There are also two-seater karts and hand-throttle karts available, ensuring that karting is accessible to everyone.
After racing, you can head to the bar or kitchen for a bite to eat and a drink, and the venue also offers laser tag, bowling, karaoke and an escape room – ideal for making the most of your day.
