Gamestate ArenA Amsterdam: Amsterdam’s largest arcade With over 90 arcade games under one roof, right next to the Johan Cruijff ArenA: that’s Gamestate. From lightning-fast racing simulators and shooters to VR experiences, classic claw machines and redemption games where you collect tickets for prizes — there’s something for every skill level and every age group. The atmosphere is electric: bright lights, pulsating sounds and the energy of people trying to give it their all. You play using a rechargeable Playcard, so you don’t need coins and can simply hop from game to game. On Wednesdays, there are half-price credits via Winners Wednesday, offering great value for an afternoon full of action. Have you registered a Playcard? Then you’ll receive 25 free credits straight away. Gamestate is open from Monday to Sunday from 12:00 to midnight, and during school holidays from as early as 10:00. Children under 18 are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Special packages are available for birthday parties, company outings or larger groups of over 100 people. The venue is easily accessible via Bijlmer ArenA metro station.
