Bols Cocktail Experience: an hour-long taste of cocktail history
On Museumplein in Amsterdam, right opposite the Van Gogh Museum, you’ll find the Bols Cocktail Experience — an interactive experience centred around the world’s oldest spirits brand. Lucas Bols has been producing genevers and liqueurs since 1575, and this experience introduces you to that rich history in a way that truly appeals to your senses.
During the self-guided audio tour (available in several languages), you’ll move through different rooms where you’ll taste, smell and feel how the perfect cocktail is created. In the Cocktail Experience Room, you’ll learn how to make a cocktail in six steps and can take on your friends in a real shaking battle. The tour ends in the atmospheric Mirror Bar, where a professional bartender will mix a cocktail for you, which is included in your ticket.
